The Netherlands Business Council (NBC) is organizing their monthly event on the theme "Developments in urban Design to cope with climate change", and as a BBC member you are welcome to join this lively panel discussion with a great line-up of experts in the field of Sustainable Urban Design. This event will take place in the business lounge of the Netherlands pavillon, and this will be a great networking opportunity with NBC members while enjoying a drink and a bite.

In particular for the high temperature areas of the world such as the Middle East sustainable solutions are required to deal with the surging demand for cooling / air conditioning. Simply adding new cooling capacity is not an option even when not fuelled by fossil energy. Also the Corona lockdowns and working from home have changed the way we look at our work environment and urban lives.

Join this event! Moderator Anissa Abbou will spark a meaningful discussion and debate on this topic that matters to all of us, with Winka Dubbeldam, founding partner Archi-tectonics NYC LLC, renowned Dutch-American architect and academic, Marcos Bish, Managing Director of Summertown, our corporate member with focus on delivering high quality sustainable workplace solutions and Karim El-Jisr, Chief Sustainability Officer at Diamond Developers, the company created a new era in real estate specialising in building future and sustainable cities.

The experts on our panel will share their experiences, views and expectations on these topic and will take your questions in a Q&A session.
